Bubble Rush launch!
Thousands of local people are set to have a very bubbly time, as they join us for our latest fundraising event.
Registration has just opened for the 5km sponsored Bubble Rush run, which will be taking place in Wythenshawe Park on Saturday 29 June.
The family friendly event sees participants take on the course around the park, complete with four bubble stations pumping out masses of multi-coloured foam.
Money raised at the sponsored event will help us care for the patients and families it supports from across Greater Manchester.
Our ObstaColour Run last year was a huge success with great feedback, and we wanted to build something even better for 2019. We can’t wait to see everyone coming to the park to get messy, have fun, and join us in raising lots of money for local people who really need the specialist care we provide. We’d love as many people as possible to sign up to join us on the day. All are welcome, and everyone who takes part will receive a medal, with bubblers over the age of three also receiving a t-shirt for completing the course. Please do sign up today and bring your friends and family along too. As a charity we only receive around a third of our funding from the NHS, so have to raise around £20,000 a day just to keep all of our services for patients running. Every step bubble runners take really will make a difference to the lives of our patients. Eamonn O'Neal , Chief Executive
Waves of runners start from 11am on the day, and a special early bird entry fee is available to everyone who signs up before 31 March.
